Sony TAM-100 Answering Machine

I found this at a thrift store, in the original box. It is a digital answering machine from the 1990s. It supports three different mailboxes, a recordable greeting, memos, call screening and message timestamps. Unfortunately, the clock for the timestamps resets after a power cycle, disabling the feature.

I've sometimes called it from bed at night to leave myself notes. The actual memo feature isn't that useful when it's on my desk next to a notepad already. The manual suggests that turning the volume all the way down will turn off call screening, but it still echos slightly when I call it from the same room.
